Learn the Lingo

There's a new game in town, and it's called Super Snap Bingo!

When playing the game of Bingo, you need to know the basics. That's important. Here are some terms that can give you an advantage:

FACE refers to the numbers or patterns on the Bingo card. There are 24 numbers and a blank space in the middle of the game card. FLIMSY, or Throwaway, refers to the bingo card, but on a thin sheet of paper. They can come in one, two, four, six or 9 cards, and you usually get a higher payoff than in a regular game. When playing FOUR CORNERS, you're expected to cover the numbers in the corners of the card. It's only four numbers and the jackpot is yours if you get them.

FREE SPACE is just that - a free space. There are no numbers assigned to it, you can use it how you wish and it counts towards the winning pattern. G.T.I., T.E.D. allows you to electronically play multiple packs at one time. A HARD CARD is printed on cardboard. It may or may not have shutter to cover the numbers as the sequence is called out. HARDWAY BINGO is playing without using the free space. HOUSE usually refers to the place where the games are held and the owners. An INLAID CARD is part of a custom table where the cards, which are usually 4x4 are already there. Black discs are used to place numbers.

Now, on to Super Snap! This new game gives you five ways to win. You purchase up to five hands per game and don't see your hand until you've completed your purchase. From the onset, you have a chance of immediate winnings. Now for the basics: two pair hands will get you twice the amount of your card. Three of a kind gives you three times the prize. If you get a straight, your card price is multiplied by four, and for a six times the card increase, you'll need a Flush. The stakes get higher! There's still a Full House, which will maximize your wins nine times over, and Four of a Kind will give you 25 times the card price! Straight Flush and Straight Royal Flush are 50 and 250 times more.

Playing the maximum hands may get you a Lucky Charm Jackpot. If you match the word SNAP, you will get the game jackpot. Matching five cards in seven calls will get you a shot at the Community Chest Jackpot worth 40% of the bounty. For a 60% share of the remainder of the Community Chest jackpot, play the game as someone else wins.

Good luck and happy playing!
